Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter who also is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. She is popular for being the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she won her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her siblings and parents, was born in Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and began working out at the age of five. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit events in California where she performed relatively well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie began CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She performed very well in the initial matches. Annie was ranked among Top 10 among over 70. However, she was unable to earn any awards, which was why she ended 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the same silver medal year. Next year She took part again in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal by virtue of her dominant performance. The first woman ever to succeed in winning CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her amazing performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. She also won a gold medal. Also, in 2021 she won a bronze. Today, Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's increasing popularity as a professional athlete has allowed her to be the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her own Youtube channel known as "Annie" and has more than 3,500 users. It has videos that discuss training diets and family life.
