Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American Actress. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. In the early 80s, she started her career in film with the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, with other actors equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her successful debut in a movie, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the the best high school films. Though the budget was only $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show was for teens and first aired in April 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
